Russell and Michelle Ansell—owners of Kemptville Piles and Excavation Services—are a family run operation that services the North Grenville, Ottawa and surrounding areas.
Russell Ansell
Co-owner, Lead Foreman
Russell is the founder and co-owner of The Ansell Group Ltd alongside his wife Michelle. Russell started his entrepreneurship in 2007 after he moved from the UK with his family. Russell is the third generation of carpenters and builders, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Russell is extremely dedicated in executing quality craftsmanship in every project, as his main priority is the customer, he goes above and beyond to assure quality work and to bring a client’s vision to life. When Russell is not working, he is enjoying time spent with his family in the outdoors and boating.
Michelle Ansell
Co-owner, Office Manager
Michelle is the office manager and co-owner of The Ansell Group Ltd along with her husband Russell Ansell. Michelle is extremely community minded, and is an active volunteer within North Grenville, along with her family. Michelle is hands on with every project. She coordinates with clients to assure teams are managed, scheduled and organized, every step of the way. Whether she is working in the office, picking up materials for projects or helping on the jobsite, Michelle is always working hard to create the best customer experience possible. When Michelle is not in the office, she is likely chasing after her three girls, crafting or enjoying cooking for her family.

The Ansell Group Ltd. will achieve its Vision by collaborating with clients to achieve beautiful outdoor spaces, inspire indoor renovations, provide designs, and plans with individual vision, execute skilled installations for helical piles and alternative foundations, provide contractors and DIYers alike all necessary supplies to complete their own fencing and deck projects. We pride ourselves on community involvement through donation and volunteering, we honour our skilled and professional team members for their support in elevating our combined success and show much respect for our fellow business entrepreneurs.

BCIN Certified Architectural Technician
The Ansell Group Ltd. now has a BCIN certified designer in house. We welcome Aleisha to the team! Aleisha recently graduated with an advanced diploma in Architectural Technology. She has been working hard and most recently passed her Building Code Identification Number Exams.
The BCIN stands for Building Code Identification Number, which is a unique number required on all drawings submitted for a building permit in Ontario.
Alongside the designs and drawings, Aleisha is also the Planning Coordinator. She helps us and our clients with the municipal permit application process as well, allowing us to get your project paperwork done quickly and efficiently.
